Tenderloin Pot Roast

1       3-pound beef tenderloin roast
1/4    cup soy sauce
1       tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1       clove garlic, crushed
2       onions, quartered
1/2    pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
3       ribs celery, sliced
3       carrots, peeled and sliced
1/4    cup water
4 to 6    new potatoes, halved

Assemble all ingredients and utensils. Place the tenderloin in a bowl. In a small bowl combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Pour the mixture over the tenderloin and marinate overnight. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Place the marinated tenderloin, onions, mushrooms, celery, and carrots in a roasting pan. Cover. Bake for 2 hours and 30 minutes. Add the potatoes and water and bake for another 30 minutes. Yield: 12 servings of 3 ounces of tenderloin.
